COLLECTIF ARNEVA AURORE BUSSEREAU Sculpts driftwood gleaned from walks along the banks of the Loire, beaches and waterways. Each piece is a story, an encounter, a journey… Raw art, full of emotion, simple and subtle, nourished by nature and its gifts. “Empreintes Boisées” is a path to healing, introspection and reconnection… Artist in attendance: Saturdays 21 & 28 June, 5, 12 & 19 July (10am-1pm; 3pm-6pm) MARIDES Guided by light and the beauty of things, her dreams nourish her and colour allows her to share them gently. Her masterful brushwork and uninhibited use of the palette knife combine to create a sincere expression of both figurative and abstract painting. When the image becomes language, the photographer keeps his eyes open on our busy lives and addresses visitors with his words of introspection and arrogance. Artist in attendance: Wednesdays 25 June & 2 July (2-6pm), Sunday 6 July (10am-1pm; 2-6pm), Monday 14 July (3-6pm) and Saturday 19 July (10am-1pm; 2-6pm). MARC LADRIERE An abstract matte painter, he combines fabrics, sheets, plaster and mineral materials to create works where the infinitely small meets the infinitely large. Dreams, imagination and obsessions are projected onto the canvas. “Painting has always been a battle in which the energy expended can only be absolute”. + ELIANE GUERIN “Each painting is part of a reality modified by my sensitivity, the unpredictability of oil painting, the reversals, destructions, reconstructions…”.
