Echoing the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games being held in Paris, the Archives d?Indre-et-Loire are presenting an exhibition on the memory of sport in Touraine.
The exhibition showcases 150 years of sporting practice, with a focus on Langeais, across all disciplines, through objects, clothing, archives, photographs and videos, for the most part from the Grande Collecte des archives du sport operation launched for the occasion.
The exhibition will be accompanied by a program of events, including freestyle demonstrations, retrogaming at the library, the “Il va y avoir du sport” show by CICLIC Centre Val de Loire, and the Tempêtes d?histoire festival devoted to sport from May 24 to 26.
