The Bruissements d?Elles festival has been spotlighting the female arts scene for 26 years, taking place every March to coincide with International Women's Rights Day. For the 2026 cultural season, the commune of Azay-le-Rideau is honored to welcome the vocal ensemble Ad libitum, who will be presenting their sung show, Et pourtant elles chantent, drawn from a repertoire of traditional and contemporary songs about the status of women around the world and through the ages. Et pourtant elles chantent is a thought-provoking, thought-provoking show that invites us to rethink the place of women in our society.
