Since it was founded in 1963, the Jean-Baptiste Lœillet Ensemble has been exploring the early music repertoire, from the Middle Ages to the 18th century.
Our instrumental and vocal ensemble is made up of around fifteen musicians, both amateurs and friends, who are delighted at the idea of playing together and for you in this place that has stood the test of time.
We offer a varied programme of English and Italian music and song from the 11th to 18th centuries, with a few forays into more distant lands!
Flutes, viols, guitars, violin and harpsichord, sometimes accompanied by percussion and crumhorns, will play, alone or with the choir, sacred and secular pieces and dances.
