EGLISE SAINT-VINCENT DE BRISSAC-QUINCÉ

René de Cosse, owner of the Château de Brissac since 1502, decided to have the church built in 1532. The architects of the period drew their inspiration from Antiquity, giving pride of place to the semicircular arch, as illustrated by the main door, the triumphal arch and the double arches of the transept. This church, now a parish church, was for many years the seigneurial chapel of the Château de Brissac.
