In the early 19th century, the architect François Scheult designed a neo-classical church based on the Greek-Roman vocabulary, with its triangular pediment on the façade. The building faces the museum dedicated to the Renaissance poet Joachim Du Bellay, who no doubt would not have disliked these pretty shapes.
