Our passion for the world of wine and our desire for new adventures crossed paths with a rare opportunity, which has led us to announce the creation of our own wine estate: DOMAINE ESCOGRIFFE.
Why “Escogriffe”? It’s the name given to tall, thin, generally ill-built people… Which is what we are! Our family association brings together Dominique and Patrick, farmers and winegrowers for 25 years in Anjou, and Diane, a young winegrower and oenologist, and has enabled us to come up with this wonderful project. Since the 2018 harvest, a 4th escogriffe has joined us in the team, Romain, closely followed by Clara!
The 2017 vintage marked our first year of production and will enable us to offer you a range of Anjou wines from early 2018.
We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our troglodyte cellars in Coutures to taste our wines.
