The Saint Maur vineyard became the property of the CHOUTEAU family in 1962. Winegrowers and winemakers for several generations, we bring our passion and know-how to the growing of our vines.
The main grape varieties grown on the 36 hectares of predominantly clay-limestone land are Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon-Chenin, Sauvignon Blanc and Grolleau. Our red, white, rosé and sparkling Anjou wines have won awards for many years. Constantly evolving, we ensure the optimum quality of our wines. Our winery is equipped with a temperature control system and, for the last few years, a rotating vat called “Vinimatic” for improved vinification of the red wines.
