The son, grandson and great-grandson of a winegrower, Etienne Jadeau settled in 1990 just a few kilometres from the banks of the Loire, surrounded by windmills and châteaux.

The 21 hectares of the Domaine de la Gauterie are spread out between the Aubance and Layon rivers, which meander nonchalantly through the gentle countryside of Anjou. The Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée wines produced by the estate are : Bonnezeaux, Coteaux du Lauon, Anjou Rouge, Anjou Blanc, Rosé de Loire, Rosé d'Anjou, Cabernet d'Anjou, Crémant de Loire. New cuvée, "Kundivido" IGP Merlot 2020, as well as IGP Chenin, IGP Grolleau, IGP Chardonnay...

Domaine de la Gauterie has been awarded Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) certification for its environmentally-friendly practices. It also has the "Vigneron Indépendant" label.

Visits to the estate are possible by appointment.
