“Curieux d’images animées” au cinéma de Montjean-sur-Loire

Curious about moving images? Every year, this is an opportunity for young and old alike to laugh, be moved and discover original short films in the cinemas of Mauges-sur-Loire.

Strange beasts! Whether horned, feathered or furry.... From the smallest insect to the largest mammal, come and discover them at the cinema!

8 short films
Single ticket price: €3 | from age 3 | running time 50 min

This year, there will be 4 50-minute screenings of 8 short films:

- Pik pik pik: Ants march through the trees, in columns and syncopated rhythms. The woodpecker, with its colourful plumage, loves to peck at them. But the woodcutter's axe threatens to interrupt this symphony...

- Hannibal the elephant : A war elephant gets lost in the mountains. Unexpected encounters will change his life.

- Blue Lion: A lonely peasant takes in a braided kitten who one day grows into a big blue lion. But the villagers are afraid of this frightening-looking stranger and chase him away. So the peasant sets up his house on a cart, and sets off with his animals to find a new home.

- The tree with the big voice: A mouse wants to live in the trunk of an old tree when it threatens him with a big voice. She runs away and tells the story to the other animals in the forest. Who is hiding in the tree trunk?

- The legend of the hummingbird: A fire breaks out in the Amazon forest, and the frightened animals flee to the other side. Only one little hummingbird persists in fighting the fire when he spots two sloths in the middle of the flames.

- The jellyfish: In a plastic-infested sea, a small aquatic creature leaves its reef and sets off on an adventure on a jellyfish...

- Kiki the feather:Kiki the canary has only ever known his small cage. One day, the door was left ajar and he escaped to discover the great outdoors. Being a free bird is scary after all!

- The mole and the worm: A mole discovers that everyone around him has a friend. Everyone except him...
