The theme of this 2026 edition, the anniversary of JEMA, is therefore creating a very strong echo within our collective. We're joining forces to create the collective synergy that you want to highlight during the JEMA days. In conjunction with the Ancenis COMPA and the Pays de Loire CMA, we're planning a special event on 11 and 12 April 2026.
The proposed programme would be as follows:
(subject to change: depending on the weather for outdoor events, the number of people attending workshops or introductions and the availability of representatives from COMPA Ancenis and CMA Pays de Loire).
Saturday 11 April
10am: welcome and coffee offered to present Cultivons les Cailloux through the experience of its artisans. 2 to 3 members of the collective.
From 11am: presentation of 1 or 2 craft activities in the courtyard of the shop:
Fabric printing with Zéna, dressmaker and stamping artist: "I propose to demonstrate printing with wooden stamps and to run stamping workshops on materials such as tod-bags, scarves and/or materials that participants bring back with them, provided that the fabrics are natural fibres".
Small leather goods and decorative garlands with Eva, wood and leather craftswoman: "Come and make a leather garland with different designs. You can use wood scraps to combine materials. A short introduction to leather stitching and a presentation of the different working methods".
Demonstration of Japanese chopstick making with Guillaume, wood craftsman: "I'll be demonstrating how to make Japanese chopsticks and answering any questions you may have about making cutting boards from end grain wood".
From 2pm:
Introduction to forging with Stéphane, cutler: "Working with steel and different materials such as wood or brass opens up an infinite range of creative possibilities. From cutlery to sculpture, from ancestral techniques to the most modern, there are no limits - it's a never-ending apprenticeship...".
Introduction to cyanotype with Léo, a multi-disciplinary artist: "Cyanotype is a very simple process to produce, but the magic and emotion are always present when the Prussian blue appears and reveals the finished print".
Introduction to painting on clothes with Sandra , a dressmaker specialising in re-use: "Redecorate your garment by painting a design of your choice on it to make it unique".
5pm: round table on the theme
"Hearts at work in crafts, in the country as in the city": is the collective a cultural and territorial synergy?
The idea of this hour-long discussion is to discuss the practices of each person and to present the challenges of creating crafts, often at home or in a workshop, and marketing our products. The collective aspect will be very present with the Cultivons les Cailloux collective shop. The collective is keen to showcase the various groups present at Cultivons les Cailloux, along with the workshops, well-being and repair-cailloux centres, in order to demonstrate their importance. The following will be present:
2 craftswomen
2 artisans
COMPA
The CMA Pays de la Loire
And 1 moderator.
