The Coeur de Ville cruise shows you how the Erdre is part of Nantes’ geography and how the city has been shaped by its waterways.
In 1h to 1h15 of navigation, our crew will take you along the Ile de Versailles and through the Saint-Félix tunnel (only accessible by boat), to the confluence of the Erdre and the Loire. Whether they’re from the region or just passing through Nantes, our passengers can take it in turns to observe :
– architectural heritage: Tour Bretagne, Tables Mémorielles, Pont Saint-Mihiel, Nantes station, Maison des Compagnons, Cité des Congrès, etc.
– historical heritage: the Saint-Félix tunnel, LU, evocations of the World Wars in Nantes and the flooding, etc.
– artistic heritage: works from the Voyage à Nantes, town centre planning, etc.
– natural heritage: floating gardens, protection of the river, wildlife…
We look forward to welcoming you every 2nd Saturday of the month for an early morning cruise on a small, friendly boat, a great place to chat.
