Ciné en’joué : La traversée de Paris

The Joué-lès-Tours Council of Elders invites you to a new session of Ciné en'Joué. To mark the 130th anniversary of cinema, Ciné OFF is extending the afternoon with a quiz, a drink and a book signing by author Laurent Moriceau. Film this month: La Traversée de Paris.

Synopsis: During the Occupation, Martin, a brave unemployed man, has to carry four suitcases full of pork to the other end of Paris. His usual sidekick has been arrested, so he calls in a stranger, Grandgil. But Grandgil soon proves to be uncontrollable and the journey perilous. At the end of their journey, Martin discovers that Grandgil is a well-known painter who has allowed himself the luxury of a little adventure. In the end, they are arrested, and Martin has to pay the price alone.
