Step back in time and discover the treasures buried beneath our feet!
The Chronomobile, the archaeology laboratory travelling exhibition invites visitors of all ages to discover the science of archaeology in a fun and immersive way. Visitors can explore archaeology as it is practised on a daily basis in the 24 communes of the Nantes Metropolitan Area, through an interactive tour combining clear information, hands-on activities and multimedia. For the duration of a visit, slip into the shoes of an archaeologist: handle, experiment, observe... and discover the secrets of excavations thanks to interactive and immersive displays. It's a captivating adventure for the whole family, to arouse the curiosity of all ages!
Produced by Le Chronographe, Nantes Métropole's archaeological interpretation centre, located on the Saint-Lupien archaeological site in Rezé, this exhibition has its roots in the temporary exhibition C'est arrivé près de chez vous, which retraced 10 years of archaeological discoveries in the metropolitan area (on show at Le Chronographe from February 2023 to January 2024).
Admission: included in the Terre d'Estuaire ticket, or €3 for the exhibition on its own.
