Château de Targé is an impressive sight on the hillside, with its beautiful view over the Loire Valley. Its cellars, dug into the cliff, conceal the remains of a wine press dating back to the 17th century.
The wines, all Saumur, in Red (Saumur-Champigny), White, Rosé or Brut, have won over 120 medals since 2000. The organically farmed vines are located just above the château and cover 24 hectares.
The gîte was created in 2008 with decorator Daniel Kiener to accommodate a couple in a quiet location close to all the activities and restaurants of the Saumur region.
