The aim of EquiLandes is first and foremost to promote the leisure horse. American riding, more commonly known as “western riding”, is outdoor riding par excellence. It’s a method that offers a different approach to the horse, based on respect and complicity between horse and rider. If the term “AMERICAN riding” has been chosen rather than “WESTERN riding”, it is to emphasise riding technique and to distance itself from the folklore often associated with the name WESTERN. In short, it’s western riding without the fringes. The aim of learning this type of riding is to be self-sufficient outdoors in absolute safety. The techniques are precise and reliable. It’s about feeling, efficiency and safety. From American riding lessons to courses, mountain trails and equestrian courses, Equilandes immerses you in the captivating world of western riding. Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm by appointment.
