The Canal de la Martinière is a perfectly safe stretch of water, ideal for beginners and nature walks with family and friends.
Our cruising area stretches from the Carris bridge (near the Quai Vert) to the Champs Neufs lock, a round trip of 8.5 km.
A deposit cheque is required for all rentals.
For kayaking, canoeing and paddling, all participants must be able to swim 25m with immersion.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Parental authorisation is required for unaccompanied minors over 12.
As well as these water-based activities, Quai Vert also offers nature walks and cycle hire, including cycles adapted for people with reduced mobility, known as ‘handbikes’.
