BOIRE SAINTE CATHERINE

The 2-hectare Boire Sainte-Catherine nestles on the banks of the Loire. Part of the Espace Naturel Sensible de Liré-Bouzillé, it is a protected natural site ideal for fishing and observing the flora and fauna. This peaceful spot offers total immersion in the nature of the Loire, with its wetlands, flood meadows and alluvial forests. The riverbanks are accessible. You can come and tease carnivorous fish (pike, pike-perch or perch), carp or white fish. There’s also a play area for younger children. The picnic area is nearby. Sanitary facilities and a shelter are also available not far from the car park.
