Portrait à Croquer invites children to discover the art of portraiture, which emerged during the Renaissance. Since François Rabelais never posed for a realistic portrait, no one knows what he really looked like. Each child will propose his or her own interpretation of the writer’s face, using the elements of expression and emotion suggested. The workshop approaches the line drawing “in the manner of Matisse”, the experimentation of the series, then the realistic drawing. From 7 years old.
