Suzanne Bauruel: A visual artist, scenographer and author, her work revolves around natural sites where trees and the Loire River are emblematic elements. She creates large tree prints from collected natural remains, which she transforms and embroiders herself. These embroideries follow the accidental lines of the bark in their particular essence, just as one line can follow another. She revives what lies dormant in the bark and its rough edges, and goes back to time immemorial through her pebbles collected in the bed of the Loire.
She is developing her graphic research using pastel and painting techniques. She works in ceramic sculpture and plaster from her scouting photos and drawings. All these capturing gestures give her the opportunity to dream about matter, where the poetics of natural elements linked to the memory of the world become entangled. She confronts the interdependence of trees, water, earth and people. At the same time, she organises cabinets of curiosities and installations based on her plastic research, dramatising them as part of the “tralala splatch” wild theatre company.
Joël Bluteau: Actor, director and set designer, he presents his mechanical sculptures, a kind of Pataphysical machinery that animates the various shows of the “tralala splatch” théâtre sauvage company, encouraging the hybridisation of aesthetic experiences and the enchantment of spectators.
