This workshop will allow you to immerse yourself in a craft workshop, discover traditional hand sewing and leave with a personalised bag. The workshop includes : know-how + leather + accessories + provision of materials and tools + gourmet break PRODUCTION STAGES : – Choice of materials – Cutting with the help of a pattern – Assembly and preparation work – Assembly with rivets – Fitting accessories – Finishing work Level: beginner (minimum age 15). Introduction to the basics of leatherwork Duration: 3h 3h30 Places: 2 to 4 max WORKSHOP SCHEDULE : The workshop begins with a presentation and discussion about the craft and leather, based on your questions. You will choose the leather, accessories and shoulder strap from a wide selection of materials and according to your wishes. For this workshop, the leather parts will be pre-cut in advance, and you will work on the preparation with the help of a pattern to trace the assembly marks. Once you’ve assembled the different parts of the bag, you’ll start assembling with the tools you’ll need: a punch, rivets and a workshop press. You can then assemble your leather shoulder strap and adjust it to your size.
