An ideal location for Montjean sur Loire, whose port was once a major centre for river transport, with hemp cultivation and the production of around twenty lime kilns. The picnic area is located on the intramural route of Montjean-sur-Loire, 350 metres from La Loire à Vélos. The Tourist Office, located at the same distance, is open from April to October and will inform you about activities and things to visit in this charming corner of Anjou.
There are also plenty of places to visit nearby, as well as beautiful walking and cycling routes.
The “Loire à Vélo” is an 800km tourist cycle route that follows the Loire River around an exceptional river heritage.
