Grocery store or foodtruck, there’s something for everyone
When cycling, it’s important to eat well and refuel. But the thing is, at the end of a full day on La Loire à Vélo, you might not have the energy to cook😉. No worries – there are grocery stores, pre-prepared meals and sometimes even foodtrucks available for you! All you’ll need to do is choose your meal depending on your preferences and budget.
Bonus – certain campgrounds offer picnic tables outdoors or under shelter in the event of rain. It’s a great opportunity to meet and chat with your fellow cycle tourists. 😉
Drying room or dryers, so you can ride dry
Whether you have some laundry to do or you got caught in the rain during the day ☔, most campgrounds will have a solution for you. Alongside the traditional washing machines, you will sometimes find dryers as well. So you won’t have to wait for your laundry to air-dry or leave with damp clothes. Continue your journey with clean, dry laundry!
A few moments of relaxation
What could be better after a solid day of cycling than taking a lovely moment to unwind? Some campgrounds offer a wellbeing space where you can enjoy a soothing massage or a hot sauna to relax your muscles. Not to mention the swimming pool, which is also ideal to unknot tight muscles with a couple of laps💦.
