Les “Deux moiselles de B”, a duo of energetic musicians and singers, offer a new show that’s part fiction, part documentary, based on collected lyrics that question the codes and contours of French chanson with mischief and tenderness. “Do you prefer Philippe Katerine or Edith Piaf? Michel Delpèche or SCH? William (like Sheller), Yolanda (Dalida’s real first name), Paul (Stromae’s first name) and the others (like us, in short) – what is French chanson?” is a show in which we flirt with artificial intelligence, believe we’ve killed Dalida, meet Léo Ferré in dialogue with Jul, François Deguelt with Souchon and Aya Nakamura, not forgetting the new rising star of showbiz “Jean-Jacques Brel-Dion”.
