A weekend-long exhibition of photos by Dominique Drouet, pastels by Françoise Réthoré and driftwood sculptures by Yann Viau.
Saturday 24 January at 4pm: discussion with Dominique Drouet, photographer, and Yann Viau. As well as being an amateur sculptor, Yann Viau is an archaeologist with INRAP (Institut National de Recherches Archéologiques Préventives). He’ll be telling us about his astonishing finds during excavations in the bed of the Loire.
Sunday 25 January 9am-12noon: photographic walk (registration required) at https://www.helloasso.com/…/salle-et-chapelle-aubry… (limited to 12 people), led by Sylvie Coulivant (Emballade photo) near Ingrandes. This original walk is an invitation to observe, to take your time, to immortalise the present moment and to cross photographic paths. All types of camera are welcome, including mobile phones.
Sunday 25 January at 4pm: Discussion with Francoise Réthoré, Sylvie Courlivant and Jean Colas, aka John Patach. Jean Colas will talk about the kayaking trips he organises on the Loire. Sylvie Courlivant will be sharing her favourite walks along the banks of the Loire, a guided photographic tour that she offers throughout the year. Finally, Francoise Réthoré, a pastel artist, will be giving us a live demonstration of pastel creation. She will be talking about her deep love for the Loire, its shores, its colours and the dreams it transports.
