PARC DU LITTORAL

Originally, this botanical park was intended to enable the exchange of plants with the Jardin des Plantes in Nantes. Unfortunately, this garden has fallen into decline, particularly because of the drastic standards governing the use of phytosanitary products. Today, the area has been restructured and planted with perennials and grasses in a number of different settings. The garden was renamed “Parc du Littoral” in 2010, and has been listed in the Loire-Atlantique parks and gardens guide since 2012. The plants are adapted to the living environment, ensuring that the garden looks well-maintained and has pleasant flowers. A children’s play area enhances the site, which offers a breathtaking view of the Saint-Nazaire bridge and the construction sites.
