Papic is Sacha’s affectionate nickname for his beloved grandfather. His long white beard hides a treasure trove of extraordinary stories. Drolatic Industry revisits the album Les Trésors de Papic by Emilie Soleil and Christian Voltz, transposing it into their magnificent world of silhouettes and a 2-D set in bright sepia colours. The show speaks with tenderness of the passage of time, the link between generations, the place of a child in his family, and the importance of complicity with his family. “Papic” touches and delights young and old alike.
