Artists in residence:
Lucie Rico, born in 1988 in Perpignan, is a novelist, screenwriter and film director. Her first novel, Le Chant du poulet sous vide (P.O.L, 2020), won the Prix du roman d’écologie 2021, and her second, GPS (P.O.L, 2022), received a special mention in the Prix Wepler. She now divides her time between writing, film and teaching creative writing.
Pascale Moisset worked in the press in Paris. After her first novel for adults, published by Éditions Albin Michel, she has now turned her attention to writing for young people. She plays with words, twists them, makes them sound, and likes to pass on her wordplay to children, at meetings and workshops that she runs.
Her favourite themes are nature, friendship, equality and art.
Back in her native South-West, she now lives in Bordeaux, and enjoys walking the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, the forests and the mountains.
