The village of Les Rosiers-sur-Loire is ideally situated on the Levée, the tourist route overlooking the Loire between Angers and Saumur. It is linked to the south bank by two elegant suspension bridges.
The town boasts a number of tourist attractions, including a genuine town centre, restaurants, quality food artisans, local shops, a Monday morning market, gîtes and B&Bs, a 4-star campsite, a hotel and a summer swimming pool. A “History and Heritage” trail will take you on a tour of the bell tower and its strange Zen fountain. Unless you prefer to walk or cycle along the Loire to Ile Ollivier (the main stop-off point on the “Loire à vélo”). Numerous artists and craftspeople welcome you to the Conserverie or Espace des Ponts during the summer months. A large flea market takes place every 3rd Sunday of the month.
