A theatrical frichti to wake you up? Take a seat on a stool in the smell of coffee. At the centre of a wooden counter, two “cordon bleu comedians”; with razor-sharp gestures and a knowing eye, they’ll chat you up: modern jocularity and morning briefs, that’s the welcome! On the waxed Christmas table, you’ll be offered a soft-boiled egg, an orange juice, a homemade madeleine… and then 40 minutes of food and texts generously shared; smells, sounds and words. You’ll come across the culinary Miscellanies of the famous Mr Schott, as well as Proust and Alice in Wonderland. Unexpected, delicious, warm theatre!
