Created in 2014, the farm is home to Angora goats, Bleu du Maine sheep and Pie Noir Breton cows in an unspoilt environment. The wool from the angora goats is transformed into mohair articles, while the wool from the sheep is also transformed into plaids, blankets, insoles and scarves.
The bleu du Maine sheep and pie noire Breton cows are local breeds with low numbers, and I’m really keen to preserve the local biodiversity, both plant and animal. The farm is of course certified organic.
You can place your orders on the website and collect them every Friday from 3pm to 6pm at the farm.
You can also find Jardin de Gaïa products at the Mauves-sur-Loire market on Saturday mornings in Place de l’Eglise.
