“In the footsteps of a naturalist”: Accompany a naturalist during biological inventories at the Alleuds sand pit. You’ll find out how to record the fauna and flora of quarries (including some special species), and you’ll also have the chance to meet a quarry manager and find out how a materials extraction site works. Attire/equipment required: walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

Meeting point from 9.30am at the Alleuds quarry car park (Brissac Loire Aubance). Tour departs at 10am. Lasts approximately 2 hours.
