Gaiement chantons !

Four singers from the Ensemble Jacques Moderne, accompanied by the lute, invite you to celebrate gardens through Renaissance songs. Nature, flowers, trees and birds are praised, as are the aromatic plants, vegetables and vines that will delight our tables. The works on this program are drawn from the French polyphonic repertoire of the Renaissance and popular tradition, and will find the church the ideal setting for voice and lute to resonate faithfully to the period.
