In 1936 Doctor Fuselier, then mayor of La Guerche, bought the château belonging to the Sauvard family, to make it into a Town Hall. The park as it appears today, was designed in the 1960s. Mainly planted with conifers, it is regularly replanted with new species and has many flowers. This space is a place of relaxation and for walks. It is a true oasis of greenery and flowers in the city centre, visited by many tourists.
