The itinerary is full of beautiful spots and cultural heritage sites waiting to be discovered... We recommend it!

As we are originally from Nantes, it was a great relief that we could arrive and leave by train: it’s less stressful, faster and there is a designated area where we could leave our bikes. Also, it’s original and eco-friendly!

We set off with our bikes from Angers, a charming and very green town with a beautiful castle. In the morning, we passed through Saint-Mathurin-sur-Loire, a lovely village. We took breaks along the banks of the Loire. It’s a really relaxing ride!

In the afternoon we continued towards the vineyards of Saumur and Turquant. We were truly astonished by how many of them there are! We ended our day by treating ourselves to a glass of Saumur wine before going to our accommodation, where we were welcomed along with our bikes and luggage! A high-quality service with welcoming hosts, ready to cater to the needs of cyclists.
