Whatever your country of origin, here is the information you need to know about staying in France.

The castles, sites of visits and activities, accommodation and restaurants will be happy to welcome you and have implemented all the measures to ensure your safety.

Since 1 July, the health pass has been recognised for travel within the European area, in the form of a European certificate.

The certificate must include proof of vaccination, a negative test result or proof of Covid reinstatement less than 6 months old.

In France:

  • From 21 July: the health pass is mandatory for all leisure and cultural venues gathering more than 50 people.
  • From the beginning of August: the health pass becomes compulsory in cafés, restaurants, for travel by plane, train and bus for long distance journeys.
